Ferrari F1 at Racing Festival in Roskilde 2014

The city of Roskilde has had a fine visit from no less than a Ferrari F1. It is Formula Racing that has ensured the sound of F1 rings out over Roskilde once again.

The last time was in the early 1960s. The invited car is from 1995, when both Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger drove 3 litre Ferrari F1 V12s. It is also known as the Ferrari 412 T2 and is the last V12 before the switch to V10 engines.

At one point on Sunday afternoon, the supercars stop driving. A calm falls over the track. No engine sound. People chat among themselves about whether it's F1 time now. Still complete calm over the track. It must be.

At the starting area, the F1 car is being started up. The crowd around the start grows. It is Jan Magnussen who is going to drive a few laps on the track.

Slowly the F1 car moves down towards the entrance to the track. Now the sound of F1 is about to ring out over Roskilde again.

Out on the track, the throttle is opened and off it goes. The sound of F1 thunders through the track.

The spectators at the other end of the track receive the sound and wait eagerly to see the Ferrari F1 racer. You can clearly hear the deceleration and acceleration.

It ends up being about 5 laps with the Ferrari 412 T2.
