Rally Danimarca, 70 supercars from Ferrari drive from Aalborg to Copenhagen!!
It's not every day we get the pleasure of seeing 70 cars from the famous Italian car brand with the rearing horse drive together across the whole country. Nonetheless, this actually happened when Ferrari turned 70.
The Danish Ferrari importer Formula Auto had arranged what they called "Rally Danimarca" to celebrate the brand's 70th birthday. Rally Danimarca consisted of around 70 "official" Ferrari participants, who drove from Aalborg to Copenhagen with pit stops along the way, where even more Ferraris joined the field.
But other Ferrari owners had decided they also wanted to drive along with the impressive procession. So all in all, it turned into a huge number of Ferrari models on Danish roads across the country.
The Rally Danimarca route started at "Hotel Hvide Hus" in Aalborg. From there they drove to Skanderborg, where pit stop 1 was held.
Lunch was had at MyGarage in Vejle, after which the Ferrari field continued to Nyborg, where pit stop 2 took place.
Now comes the exciting part, namely pit stop 3, which was a rest stop in Karlslunde with a Shell station. We, along with some other "car spotters", had shown up and gotten into position. With butterflies in our stomachs we stood waiting for an extremely impressive sight to come our way. And then suddenly it happened! One gorgeous Ferrari model after another came pouring in.
We have never seen anything like it. It was an impressive sight, and we had to keep our wits about us regarding which Ferrari to film, since Ferraris simply came pouring in, arriving at different spots around the area.
Some were refuelling, and we have to say it looked wild when around 20 Ferraris fuel up with V Power at the same time..!!
There was no reserved space for them at the rest stop, so Ferraris were parked everywhere, among trucks, caravans and ordinary cars.
It was chaotic in the best way, and the Ferrari owners had huge smiles on their faces.
After a short stop, they continued on to the closing party at Øksnehallen in Copenhagen.
